The Next Generation of
Servant-Leadership for Oklahoma

Meet Malana Bracht
Midwest City/Choctaw Roots
Malana is a proud graduate of Midwest City High School and her husband, Travis, grew up in Choctaw, Oklahoma. Travis served as a civilian employee with Tinker Air Force Base for over 12 years. Together, they bought their first home behind "Big Crest" and chose to plant their businesses and family in Midwest City. They currently reside in WindSong off of 15th and Westminster and visit their children's grandparents regularly in Choctaw and Midwest City.
A Life of Ministry in EOC & Oklahoma
From 2013-2019, Malana and her husband served as youth pastors and mentors for at-risk Choctaw-Nicoma Park, Jones, and Midwest City youth at a small ministry off of 29th and Anderson Rd. Travis answered God’s call in 2025 to become a Senior Pastor, founding Arise Church, an interdenominational ministry in OKC where Malana faithfully supports in various capacities. Before running for State Senate, Malana served multiple midsize companies as a full-time Corporate Chaplain but risked it all and resigned in order to have a chance to serve the community she loves.
She Wrote the Book on Midwest City
Malana has authored several books, including Midwest City (Images of America), a history of her hometown published in conjunction with the Midwest City Historical Society and Midwest City High School History Center. She also wrote Momma, Don’t Worry, a faith-filled book for expectant mothers promoting pro-life values celebrating the overturning of Roe Vs. Wade in July of 2022.
Small Business Owner and Community Leader
Malana knows the ups and downs of owning a small business and being self-employed. For years she’s run a corporate photography business and previously worked in Midwest City as a licensed cosmetologist at Allure Salon off of Douglas. She also founded “Midwest City Moms,” an area network of over 5,000 people supporting local moms and founded a short-term nonprofit supporting pregnant mothers that helped bring OB/GYN's back to Midwest City!
